Heikki Silvennoinen is a famous Finnish blues musician and leading actor in the "Kummeli" sketches and movies. Heikki’s career as a musician started with a band called "Tabula Rasa" in 1971. In the late 70´s he played together with various Finnish musical icons like Juice Leskinen. In the beginning of the 80´s he formed such bands as Catwalk and Friendz. Qstone in 1986 was the band that introduced Mr. Silvennoinen to a broader audience than ever before in his career. After a successful career in these acclaimed bands, Heikki felt that he wanted to stretch his musical boundaries, create something that was close to his heart. It was time for his first solo album "Mature And Cool" influenced heavily by such legends as Jimi Hendrix and Cream. It showed that Heikki Silvennoinen is a world class songwriter and guitarist by any standards. In recent years Heikki has been touring with his own band and with SF blues, which have seen members like Dave Lindholm, Mikko Kuustonen,Pepe Ahlqvist and Eero Raittinen. Heikki is releasing his 6th album later this year and now you have chance to get taste of it at the famous 93 Feet East club. Silvennoinen on Kummelien perustaja jäsen ja hänet tunnetaankin hyvin rooleistaan kuten Mauno Ahonen ja Matti Näsä Silvennoinen on myös pitkän linjan muusiikko joka aloitti kitaristi uransa jo 70-luvulla jolloin hän soitti mm. Tabula Rasa nimisessä bändissä. 80-luvulla Silvennoinen soitti yhdessä Mikko Kuustosen bändissä Qstone. Qstone vuodet todistivat että Silvennoinen on maailman luokan kitaristi sekä musiikin tekijä. Viime vuosina Silvennoinen on keikkaillut oman bändinsä kanssa sekä kesät ovat kuluneet kiireisesti SF Bluesin matkassa ympäri Suomen. SF Blues on keikkaillut vuodesta 2002 ja kokoonpanossa on nähty mm. Pepe Ahlqvist ja Dave Lindholm. Uusi soolo albumi on tyon alla ja ilmestyy myohemmin tana vuonna.
